President's Message

Hello Everyone,

 

I was recently thinking about how long I had an interest in woodworking.

I have had a veneer reselling business for 15 years and 3 years prior I made dollhouses for resale.

As a child I was my father's 'gofer'. With my minor assistance he   made several items for our house.

I don't recall him ever showing me any specific 'how to's' but I'm sure I had to pick up something. Even if it was my belief that I can attempt any project. I've had the usual experience of having a grade school shop class.

My one project was a plant stand for my mother. 35 years later it's still in service with a potted plant.

 

How about you? When did you decide to make sawdust?
