I bought both these new years ago and have used them in my shop. I am buying a 8" joiner/planer and have already replaced my air compressor with a larger tank size for finishing work.
Both tools work well and have been maintained. The planer is on a steel stand with roller wheels and the air compressor also have wheels.

I have several woods I can mill to your dimensions, mostly 1" stock, some thicker.
I also have numerous veneers for sale. The planer is spiral headed and has a very smooth finish. I usually go to 120 grit paper to start sanding.
Figured maple, not all curly, but runs to it.
1-2" thick Oak,
quarter sawn Cherry 1-6'' thick
Walnut 1-3" thick
Poplar 1-2" thick
I also have thin stocks of ash in small quantity…20 feet or so that is quarter sawn.
